Impromptu is good: 2nd & 3rd brand shoot

We’re well aware that networking is key in any endeavor, but fostering genuine bonds with people who really believe in what you’re doing create feelings of bliss that are indescribable. I met Alicia of Artiise Photography, six or seven years ago as an aspiring model. In that time we managed to work together a couple of times.

Recently we reconnected and I was asked to participate on a project she was working on. Since I’m always down for some photoshoot shenanigans, I agreed. Upon our discussion of our collaboration, I made a request, ‘Do you mind shooting me in some of swimsuits?’ and as a dear , she agreed.

To say the least, my appreciation for her creativity behind the images we produced is immense. The final edits came out so dramatically beautiful.

Check out some of our BTS footage. Note: images are not retouched.

Now here are the finished product:

Being from the city of New York, we all know that the Bronx gets joked on a lot. But I love the Bronx! I’ve had great luck in the B-X when it comes to shooting. After meeting the model, Jojo on a previous set, she expressed how much she liked my designs. I mentioned to her that I’d be happy to dress her in some pieces for any upcoming projects she had scheduled. It wasn’t long before she messaged me to collaborate on an outdoor beach shoot she had scheduled. I was more than happy to be of assistance. I met the photographer Eugene Pickney (@Chef_Jpeg) who is very talented. We got such good takes from this shoot.
